What was your first job?
When I was 13 I would wake up on sunday mornings at 5:30am and walk a mile to my local stationary store, where I would carry in stacks of sunday newspapers and spend the next six hours ‘putting together’ copies of the Sunday times.
After lunch, I’d spend the remainder of the day doing inventory in the stockroom/basement, a process I would repeat two or three evenings a week.
The day I earned enough money to buy my first video camera was the day I quit, and that was the last day I ever really ‘worked’.
