This is pretty awesome. I cant stand when people have pics of their engagement rings, wedding shots, or shots of their sonogram as their main pic. Maybe it’s because I am such a bitch or maybe it’s because it’s just retarded. It really could be one or the other…xx The AntiKris
Devil’s advocate:
Am I missing something? I’m always excited for my friends when they have exciting news, like an engagement. (Maybe ‘cause my best girl friend is getting married.)
Is that too earnest? Oh, probably.
I can see why it’s annoying when someone’s Facebook is ONLY about their wedding or baby or whatever.
I feel obligated to feel happy for my friends. But on the other end, I cannot stop feeling sorry for myself, that they are moving forward towards the different stages of life while our similarity ends upon graduation from college.
As they move towards “adulthood” whereby getting a job, being in a stable relationship, thinking about joint savings, housing, marriage; it feels like my life would forever be stuck at the stage of the awkwardness of a 16 year old.
who, at which point of the reblog, removed my ‘via’ on my picture? hmm
Also of note- guys assume that the engagee is a cute person of the opposite sex, and their engagement results in removal from friends- while most girls seem to assume that it’s jealousy and “why aren’t I getting married”-ness.
Did anyone’s reaction or impression defy this typing? I’d be interested to hear.
